Job summary

SwiftMove Logistics in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef to oversee the pastry kitchen and lead a team of pastry chefs in delivering luxurious, visually stunning desserts for guests. You will develop new recipes, train staff, and manage inventory while ensuring top-tier quality and safety standards.

The role requires proven leadership, creativity, and strong organizational skills, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting.
• Creativity in developing new dessert recipes while also maintaining classic favorites.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create new dessert and pastry recipes that align with our hotel's brand and concept.
• Train, supervise, and inspire a team of pastry chefs to maintain the highest standards of quality in all pastries and desserts prepared.
• Manage inventory and ordering of all pastry ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Banquet, Restaurant, and Room Service to ensure timely delivery of pastries and desserts for events or guest orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pastry kitchen at all times.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
• Stay updated on current industry trends in pastry-making techniques, ingredients, and plating styles.
