Job summary

SpeedLine Logistics UAE is seeking a Head Pastry Chef for a prestigious hotel in Mecca. You will oversee the creation and production of all pastries, breads, and desserts, leading a team of pastry chefs and bakers to maintain quality and presentation.

You will develop new recipes and ensure standards, manage ingredients and inventory, and uphold food safety in a fast-paced environment. English-speaking African candidates preferred; salary and benefits negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of baking techniques including decorating, icing, and chocolate work.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset with passion for developing new recipes.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee the production of all pastries, breads, and desserts.
• Train, mentor, and supervise pastry chefs and bakers.
