Job summary

PPOAR in Medina, Saudi Arabia, seeks an Executive Pastry Chef to lead and elevate the pastry program in our luxury hotel. You will craft innovative desserts, supervise the pastry team, and ensure exceptional quality in every pastry served.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a high-end pastry kitchen, a culinary degree or equivalent, strong leadership, and fluency in English (Arabic or French a plus). Salary is 1600$ per month, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a pastry chef in a high-end establishment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients.
• Experience managing a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create new and innovative pastry dishes for our restaurant.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen.
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs.
• Ensure high quality standards are met for all pastries served.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to create dessert menus for special events.
