Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pastry chef experience.
• Proven record of innovative pastries and desserts.
• Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Develop unique, visually appealing pastries for hotel outlets including restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef in pastry operations and ensure F&B policies compliance.
• Create menu and execution.
• Comply with local health and hygiene standards.
• Maintain purchasing, receiving and storage standards.
• Enforce fair department policies.
• Daily pastry kitchen walk-through for health regs.
• Participate in promotions, demonstrations and guest events.
• Collaborate on seasonal and event menus with new techniques.
• Oversee pastry department ops, scheduling, inventory, and budgets.
