Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking an Events and Engagement Officer to plan, coordinate, and deliver high-profile academic and institutional events, ensuring exceptional attendee experience and seamless logistics. The role works with leadership, external partners, and service providers to align events with strategic objectives and uphold the institution’s reputation for excellence.

On-site operations and cross-functional coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in events, communications or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating events with measurable outcomes.
• Experience managing event budgets and financial tracking.
• Proven ability to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end planning and execution of academic conferences, workshops, symposiums, and visits.
• Develop detailed event timelines, floor plans, and run-of-show documents.
• Manage on-site operations including registration, venue setup, AV coordination, catering, and other requirements.
• Ensure compliance with campus policies, safety standards, and protocol guidelines for high-profile attendees.
• Coordinate cross-functional input and approvals required for high-impact events.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end logistics for on-campus and off-campus events, including travel, accommodation, transportation, visas, room bookings, setup, and related services.
• Manage event-related procurement and financial processes, including PR, PO, SES, invoice processing, vendor onboarding, budgeting, and post-event reconciliation.
• Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external vendors/service providers to coordinate event requirements.
