Job summary

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented SME - Sustainability & EV Charging to join their team in Riyadh. This role reports to the Director Power Utilities and will assess localized renewable energy networks and solar integration plans to ensure alignment with smart city sustainability goals and grid limits.

You will lead planning for scalable EV charging infrastructure, evaluate grids, contribute to green procurement, and develop mitigation plans for reliable dispatch.

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor's in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or Sustainability; decarbonization focus preferred.
• 6+ years in clean energy, grid electrification, and decarbonization strategies.
• Experience implementing EV charging station grids with storage systems (BESS).
• Knowledge of solar PV modeling, load balancing, and building codes (LEED/Estidama).
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead layout planning, electrical routing, and technical specs for scaling EV chargers and hubs.
• Evaluate local grids to balance peak demand with solar offsets and storage.
• Support green procurement and test sustainable packaging and equipment options.
• Identify risks to renewable grid capacities and develop mitigation plans for reliable power.
• Prepare Stage Gate documentation including PV yield, carbon reductions, and load forecasts.
