Job summary

ExeQut AI Consulting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks an ETL Engineer to design, build and maintain data pipelines for analytics platforms. You will own ETL workflows end-to-end—from extraction strategies through transformation logic and monitoring—on a modern big data stack.

English will be the primary language for documentation and client-facing updates. You will work on international projects, collaborating with business teams to translate requirements into robust pipelines, implementing data

Qualifications

• 2-3 years hands-on ETL or data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL including complex queries and query optimization.
• Programming in Python, Java or Shell with working knowledge of the others.
• Experience with Hive and data warehouse layering (ODS, DWD, DWS, ADS).
• Exposure to Hadoop, Spark or Kafka in production or project settings.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting scheduled data jobs.
• Professional English written and spoken; able to document and present to clients.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, optimize and maintain the full ETL lifecycle.
• Define data extraction strategies, cleansing rules and transformation logic from business requirements.
• Write complex SQL for querying, statistics and performance optimization.
• Build and automate ETL workflows in Python, Java and Shell.
• Contribute to design and maintenance of Hive-based data warehouses and layering.
• Integrate Hadoop, Spark, Kafka within ETL workflows; monitor jobs and resolve failures.
• Establish and improve ETL operations and maintenance standards.
• Collaborate with business teams on requirements, design and data quality initiatives.
• Keep current with tools and bring new techniques into the pipeline.

Job Description

ExeQut is looking for ETL Engineer to build and maintain the data pipelines behind our analytics and data platform work You ll own ETL workflows end to end - extraction strategy through transformation logic monitoring and optimization - working in a big data stack and collaborating directly with business teams to turn requirements into working pipelines This role includes delivery on international projects including in Saudi Arabia with English as the primary working language for documentation progress updates and client-facing solution presentations

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop test optimize and maintain the full ETL lifecycle
• Define data extraction strategies cleansing rules and transformation logic from business requirements
• Write complex SQL for querying statistical analysis and query optimization to improve processing efficiency
• Build and automate ETL workflows in Python Java and Shell
• Contribute to the design modeling and maintenance of Hive-based data warehouses applying layering concepts ODS DWD DWS ADS and optimizing storage structures
• Integrate and maintain Hadoop Spark Kafka and related big data technologies within ETL workflows
• Monitor ETL jobs configure alerts troubleshoot failures and resolve data latency and consistency issues
• Establish and continuously improve ETL operations and maintenance standards
• Partner with business teams on requirement analysis solution design implementation data validation and data quality initiatives
• Keep current with new tools and techniques and bring them into the pipeline
