Job summary

Dafater in Riyadh is seeking an ERP Functional Consultant to deliver end-to-end consulting across business analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support. You will work with clients to plan implementations, migrate data, and enable rapid value realization.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, 3+ years ERP experience, excellent communication, and proven project management.

Qualifications

• Experience as ERP functional consultant or ERP implementation role.
• Strong accounting knowledge with financial reporting and analysis experience.
• Familiar with full implementation lifecycle: analysis to go-live.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholders.
• Ability to train and coach clients and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define tailored implementation plans aligned with project timelines.
• Maintain detailed client communications and project records.
• Lead end-to-end client-facing implementation lifecycle (activation to go-live).
• Guide clients to maximize ERP usage and provide technical support.
• Address inquiries, escalate issues, and coordinate internal teams.

Job Summary

The ERP Functional Consultant will be responsible for delivering comprehensive business process and application consulting services, including business analysis, solution design, gap analysis, software installation, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support, all in line with established implementation methodologies. A key aspect of the role also involves fostering long-term, successful relationships with clients and providing them with industry best practices to ensure optimal utilization of the solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to define and communicate tailored implementation plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines and delivering measurable results.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all client communications to ensure seamless follow-up and effective project management.
• Engage in the complete client-facing implementation lifecycle, covering activation, data migration, training delivery, permissions setup, rigorous testing, and a successful go-live phase.
• Guide clients in maximizing the use of software tools and deliver technical support by refining and optimizing scoped processes.
• Proactively address client inquiries, serve as a key escalation point for resolving concerns, and coordinate internal communications to ensure smooth implementation progress.
• Generate precise reports and comprehensive documentation to effectively communicate onboarding milestones and progress to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with the customization team to design and implement tailored solutions that align with the client's specific requirements.
• Plan and deliver engaging training sessions by scheduling optimal times and locations, ensuring the effective application of learned concepts in the client's operational environment.
• Ensure a seamless transition of client relationships to the Customer Success team post-onboarding, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and trust.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Consultant or in ERP implementation, with a strong understanding of the full implementation lifecycle.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, with hands-on experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP software implementation, including installation, configuration, testing, and support.
• Strong understanding of software delivery processes and methodologies, with the ability to adapt to various project management approaches.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve issues related to system usage, data imbalances, and process inefficiencies.
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and client expectations effectively.
• Excellent training and coaching skills, with the ability to empower clients to utilize ERP software efficiently.
