Job summary

Nahdi in Riyadh seeks a licensed physician to diagnose and treat minor illnesses, take histories, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests. You will counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive care and refer complex cases to specialists as needed.

6 working days per week, 8 hours per day, with shifts planned by the department head. Requires Bachelor of Medicine and SCHS license and about one year of clinical experience; strong English and Arabic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine from recognized universities.
• SCHS license.
• Proficient in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document findings.
• Designs and executes the patient’s plan of care.
• Educates patients on health condition, investigations required, treatment options and medication use.
• Educates patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Orders and reviews results of patients’ investigations.
• Prescribe medications for patients.
• Referring cases to Clinic specialties when applicable.

Job description

Diagnose and treat minor cases of illnesses (As illustrated in below table). Responsible to examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Responsible to counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare whenever it is related to their individual cases & refer any cases need more investigation to specialties; video consultation.

• Orders and reviews result of patients’ investigations.
• Prescribe medications for patients.
• Performs additional tasks based on specialty and their clinical privileges.
• Responsible for Vaccination if applicable.
• Referring the cases to Clinic specialties when applicable.

The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on the business need.
