Job summary

Environmental Coordinator – Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Qualifications
  • Holds a comparative Environmental Science qualification.
  • More than 6 years of experience in this field, preferably in CDM mega progress, and ideally some marine environment work experience.
  • SA Projects experience (specifically Offshore Mega Projects).
  • Knowledge of Environmental Management System, ISO-14001, and KSA (MEWA) regulatory requirements.
  • Hold an ISO-14001:2015 certification as a Lead Auditor.
  • Familiar with relevant marine environmental regulations, and standards applied in SA (i.e. SAES-A-103, SAEP-339, SAEP-390, SAEHC); and Saudi Arabia GOV (MEWA/ PME General Environmental Regulations); and International (RT, SOPEP, ROPME, and IMO).
  • Circular Economy expectations for EPC projects.
  • Other exposures/experience that would supplement the review is for candidate to hold a strong understanding, or have participated in the following Marine Protection deliverables:
  1. General Physical/biological Oceanography related to SA coastal and offshore operations. (e.g. Oceanographic Data Book)
  2. Have participated in technical meetings relevant to marine construction, and operations that having impacts on the marine/mammal population as an observer.
  3. Have participated in the field visits for example; Bioaccumulation Program and Seawater Temperature Study (EIA requirement).
