Job summary

SAMREF is inviting applications for a Safety Engineer PDE based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on Loss Prevention and Process Safety to ensure compliant safety systems and practices across refinery teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Safety/ Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering and have 0–2 years of related safety experience, with strong risk assessment and incident investigation skills. Position is full-time at the Yanbu site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of safety experience.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide LP/Process Safety support to ensure compliant safety systems.
• Lead risk assessments, investigations, and safety reporting.
• Audit safety programs and develop corrective action plans.
• Review projects for safety due diligence and MOC compliance.
• Respond to refinery emergencies and support safety reviews.
