Job summary

Localizationacademy in Riyadh is seeking an experienced English–Arabic Translator for on-site work, focusing on accurate, high-quality translations of HSE and technical documents. You will review, edit, and proofread, ensure terminology consistency, and collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines while maintaining linguistic excellence.

The position requires a degree in Translation (or English-language degree with proven experience), native-level Arabic and English, and familiarity with CAT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Translation preferred; English Language degree acceptable with proven experience.
• Based in Riyadh with proven English–Arabic translation experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Experience with CAT tools (SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Smartcat, or Wordfast) preferred.

We are seeking a highly experienced English Arabic Translator to join our team. We are looking for a translation specialist with proven professional experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering accurate, consistent, and high-quality translations. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating HSE documents, along with a variety of professional and technical content.

• Translate HSE and other professional documents between English and Arabic with exceptional accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
• Review, edit, and proofread translations to ensure linguistic quality and adherence to client requirements.
• Maintain terminology consistency across projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Translation (strongly preferred). Applicants with a degree in English Language will only be considered if they have significant and proven professional translation experience.
• Currently based in Riyadh.
• Proven professional experience in English Arabic translation.
• Excellent command of both Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills.
• Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Smartcat, or Wordfast) is preferred.
• Highly flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities, handle a variety of translation projects, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
