Job summary

Client of ASQ International in Riyadh seeks an experienced English Coordinator to lead literacy across EYFS and Primary, shaping the English curriculum from the ground up in a brand new school setting. You will design engaging phonics, reading and writing programmes, and mentor teachers to establish a vibrant culture of literacy from day one.

As part of the founding team you will oversee academic supervision, drive curriculum innovation, and ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English Language, English Education, or related field.
• Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction, TESOL, Educational Supervision, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years in academic supervision or educational leadership, ideally in an international school setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead English curriculum across EYFS and Primary.
• Mentor teachers in best practice for reading, writing and phonics.
• Design and implement engaging literacy programmes and reading initiatives.
• Establish a vibrant reading culture from day one and oversee academic supervision.
