Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineering Storekeeper to manage day-to-day operations in the engineering department, ensure accurate receiving of materials, and maintain optimal inventory levels for ongoing projects and maintenance.

The role requires proactive individuals with strong MS Office and procurement software skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations within the engineering department.
• Receive and verify incoming engineering materials against orders/specs.
• Maintain inventory levels for ongoing projects and maintenance.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement inventory controls to minimize loss or damage.
• Store materials properly to prevent damage.
• Record transactions using inventory systems or manual methods.
• Prepare procurement documentation including requisitions, orders and invoices.
• Support the Engineering department to meet strategic goals.
• Prepare general store requisition forms and obtain approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and vendors.
• Keep workspace clean and organized; uphold guidelines and safety.
