Job summary

Imploy Egypt is seeking a Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to lead and supervise ME/EE activities in Riyadh on major residential and commercial projects.

You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards while guiding teams to successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in ME/EE engineering or supervision.
• Experience with major residential or commercial projects preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical and electrical works across project phases.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other disciplines for integration.
• Follow up permits, approvals, and project documentation.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with relevant teams.

• Monitor progress, quality and compliance with specs.

• Identify technical challenges and coordinate solutions with stakeholders.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supervising mechanical and electrical works across residential and commercial projects, along with strong leadership, coordination, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical and electrical works across different project phases.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective project integration.
• Follow up on required permits, approvals, and project documentation.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with relevant teams.
• Lead and supervise mechanical and electrical teams to achieve project objectives.
• Review contractor proposals, evaluate technical submissions, and support material selection.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with approved specifications.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Identify technical challenges and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Support project planning, coordination, and reporting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical engineering or supervision.
• Experience working on major residential or commercial projects is preferred.
• Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Experience with relevant engineering and design software.
• Previous experience with engineering or consulting firms is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and applicable safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel between project sites when required.
