Job description

Studying all project documents related to electrical SOW ( Bill of quantities Studying all project documents related to electrical SOW ( Bill of quantities ‘BOQ’ , DWGs , Specifications , time schedules ) and all other contractual terms which affect the commercial management of materials Required

• Splitting Electrical Packages to be sent for getting quotations (RFQ) from accredited suppliers
• Preparing Compliance statements for all electrical packages with project’s specifications to ensure the technical part and move to submit with the consultant
• Deep follow with consultant and project staff about all materials approval status
• Collect commercial and technical offers from different suppliers
• comparison sheet mentioning all necessary data needed “prices, taxes, performance bonds, retentions, delivery period, payment terms …. etc.”
• Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who can deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
• Making sure that all offers are covered with reasonable margins by approved project budget to make cost saving
• Issuing purchase orders POs or contracts based on the previous studies mentioning all bonds with suppliers which guarantee delivery period, prices stability, performance, warranty …. Etc.
• Follow Up on meetings with suppliers and material management department Manager to review procurement plan progress.
• Evaluate suppliers’ performance and Coordinate with them on continuous quality improvement.
• Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.
• Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier preference study.
• Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions. Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.
