Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical/Mechanical Technician in Jeddah to support engineering, manufacturing, lab, and workshop activities. The role covers equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and project support.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, work hands-on with tools and equipment, and uphold HSE standards while assisting in supplier liaison, asset tagging, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical fabrication, assembly, maintenance, or electrical work.
• Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings, sketches, and technical instructions.
• Good practical knowledge of workshop tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests in a professional, calm, and organized manner.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and outsourcing CNC machine parts and related components.
• Fabrication and assembly of metallic and non-metallic parts from drawings and instructions.
• Support the realization, assembly, and testing of electrical systems.
• Support manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and testing activities for ongoing projects.
• Maintain workshop and laboratory equipment and manage materials and tools.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding servicing, repair, maintenance, and testing of equipment.
• Manage assets through equipment and tool tagging and track movements.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance, inspection, and testing.
• Assist in sourcing materials, consumables, tools, and equipment for labs and workshops.
• Evaluate and test new equipment and tools for laboratory/workshop use.
• Support staff in developing demonstrations, prototypes, and project activities.
• Maintain equipment to ensure efficient project transitions.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and diagnose technical problems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices.
