Job Overview

An industrial and manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its plant maintenance team in Al Kharj. The successful candidate will oversee electrical systems, generators, MEP installations, and the electrical maintenance of production and workshop equipment.

The role involves maintaining medium- and low-voltage systems, troubleshooting electrical faults, managing standby power systems, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance. The engineer will also support facility electrical systems, coordinate with mechanical and production teams, and maintain technical drawings and maintenance records.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least five years of industrial electrical maintenance experience. Experience in manufacturing plants or heavy industrial environments is preferred, while Saudi or GCC experience is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain diesel generators, automatic transfer switch (ATS) systems, and standby power systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, and production equipment.
• Support MEP and facility electrical systems, including HVAC, lighting, water pumps, and fire and safety systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with mechanical and production teams.
• Maintain electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and maintenance records.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong experience with medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) systems.
• Practical knowledge of motor control centres (MCCs), transformers, switchgear, motors, pumps, and control panels.
• Experience with diesel generators and ATS systems.
• Good knowledge of MEP electrical systems, including HVAC, lighting, water pumps, and fire and safety systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Manufacturing plant or heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Saudi or GCC experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia.
