Job summary

Wood is currently recruiting for a Technical Professional Engineer III (Electrical) to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role involves establishing designs and performance specifications and monitoring electrical installations across projects.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years of engineering experience, and strong knowledge of international codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years in similar role with construction/PMC.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, procedures and specifications.
• Experience with standalone and portfolio projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establishes designs and performance specifications to fulfill the requirements of assigned general specifications for components, systems, processes, etc.
• Monitors construction activities, electrical installations and testing activities.
• Witnessing contractors’ quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent works are constructed according to applicable codes, standards, and drawings.
• Attends site/office meetings with the contractors and prepares reports/minutes on meetings and reports.
