Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with international standards, Saudi regulations, and project specifications while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, earthing, and control systems.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and technical specifications.
- Supervise electrical installation works at site and ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure adherence to international codes and standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) requirements.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams for integrated project execution.
- Review vendor submittals, material specifications, datasheets, and method statements.
- Monitor site activities, identify technical issues, and provide corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and site safety regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience (project-dependent).
- Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is preferred.
- Valid engineering certification or professional registration (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and site execution practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software (ETAP, Dialux, EPLAN – preferred).
- Good understanding of power systems, LV/MV/HV installations, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and under project deadlines.
