Job summary

Mapei in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems. You will work with senior engineers and project teams to ensure safety, compliance, and on-time delivery of maintenance and new projects. Strong PLC/SCADA and AutoCAD skills are required, with leadership abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or automation.
Hands-on experience with PLC systems and SCADA.
Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems ensuring safety and reliability.
Analyse electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure codes compliance.
Direct and coordinate maintenance, testing, and installation activities per specs and operations requirements.
Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
Use CAD/engineering software to perform tasks and update drawings.
Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Supervise or train project team members as necessary.
Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
Lead daily electrical maintenance activities and troubleshoot MV/LV switchgear, MCC, and PLC systems.
Coordinate contractors and plant personnel for process and equipment improvements across plants.
Establish and manage vendor coordination for electrical goods supply and QA/QC approvals.
Ensure projects stay within approved Capex guidelines and report discrepancies.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting, upgrades, and installations.
