Job description

Progesys is a company recognized for its expertise in managing industrial projects and their optimal transition from construction to operation. The company is based in Laval (Canada) since 2002 and has offices in the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and South America.

Progesys is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join the Business Development & Sales team and contribute to the achievement of growth objectives of the assigned region.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute, with assistance and guidance from management, the strategic plan and initiatives to achieve the business objectives of Progesys in the assigned region.
  2. Prospecting and cold calling; key accounts management and sales presentations.
  3. Research, qualify, and solicit new contacts and new sales and business development opportunities.
  4. Plan, develop, and organize external meetings, campaigns, seminars, and presentations.
  5. Establish and maintain excellent relations with clients, partners, and associations at different levels within the organizations and help clients achieve their business objectives.
  6. Understand client’s objectives and challenges and build the approach and solutions to help them succeed.
  7. Promote the culture, capabilities, and services of Progesys and explain the benefits and ROI to the clients.
  8. Represent Progesys on the market by addressing the needs and requirements of the customer while ensuring their satisfaction.
  9. Ensure continuous follow-up with management on progress and account status.
  10. Support the team in the proper execution of all external marketing campaigns.
  11. Keep sales tools up to date (CRM, account plans, etc.), document progress, and increase opportunities within accounts.
  12. Attend and represent Progesys at trade shows and participate in professional associations.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any other relevant fields.
  2. Candidates must be based in Saudi Arabia.
  3. 7-10 years of relevant experience in business development and professional services sales to the industrial sector (mining and metals, aluminum, petrochemicals, phosphate, oil and gas, hydroelectricity, etc.).
  4. English and Arabic; French will be an asset.
  5. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  6. Highly motivated, hardworking, and driven to achieve goals.
  7. Results-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable success.
  8. Experience in project management and good understanding of capital projects life cycle.
  9. Good knowledge of the local markets with contacts in the region.
  10. Ability to establish contacts and credibility with senior level management decision makers.
  11. Good knowledge of the Office Suite, mainly PowerPoint and Salesforce.
