Job summary

American International School - Riyadh (AIS-R) seeks an experienced teacher for the 2027-28 school year. The role emphasizes designing engaging lessons, upholding AIS-R standards, and fostering student growth within a global, student-centered environment.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree with a teaching certificate, preferably a master’s in Education, and have at least two years of full-time K-12 teaching experience, with strong English communication and subject-matter

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid teaching certificate (North American or equivalent).
• Certification in subject area and/or grade level is required.
• Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Two years full-time K-12 teaching experience with proven excellence.
• Expertise in subject matter.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers lessons aligned with AIS-R standards.
• Maintains effective classroom management and records of student progress.
• Gathers, analyzes, and uses data to measure progress.
• Collaborates with colleagues, parents and the community.
• Organizes clubs/after-school activities and coaches at least one sport.
• Engages in AIS-R professional development and evaluation processes.
