Job summary

The Senior Digital Twin Plant Computing Engineer will support the NEOM Green Hydrogen program in Saudi Arabia, collaborating with global engineering centers. • Troubleshoot issues during testing, commissioning, and start‑up of DT and PC/servers.
• Develop diagrams and Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture models for PCS.
• Design and deploy Plant Floor apps for malware protection, backup, and asset security.
• Engage with vendors and follow industry best practices for infrastructure support.
• Optimize workflows and implement automation to improve service efficiency.
• Train and onboard new team members.

Job Overview

Senior Digital Twin (DT) Plant Computing Engineer for the NEOM Green Hydrogen program located in NEOM, Saudi Arabia (KSA). The role involves day‑to‑day support and collaboration with Air Products Engineering centers in the United States and India.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent DT Plant Computing engineering efforts on the NEOM Green Hydrogen project.
• Collaborate closely with Process Automation Engineers to build and deploy control systems for the plant projects.
• Participate in Industrial Control System (ICS) cybersecurity assessments and deployments.
• Configure and install PCs and servers for Process Control applications.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing, commissioning, and start‑up related to DT activities and Process Control PCs/servers.
• Develop Zone & Conduit diagrams and Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture models for Process Control Systems.
• Design, configure, and deploy Plant Floor applications for malware protection, antivirus, disaster recovery, safelisting, asset management, remote access, intrusion detection, and other OT asset security layers.
• Engage with vendors and follow industry best practices for infrastructure support.
• Optimize work processes and implement automation to improve service efficiency and productivity.
• Train, orient, and onboard new team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) OR equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 15 years of Digital Twin experience or comparable experience with process control systems.
• Experience with Windows PC operating systems (Windows 7/10/11) and Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022).
• Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, Acronis Backup, Netop Remote Control, and McAfee Application safelisting.
• Experience with networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and Active Directory.
• Fluency in IEC 62443 and NIST SP‑800 frameworks (a plus).
• ISA99/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Certificate (a plus).
• Willingness to learn and develop security administration skillset.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems such as Siemens PCS7, Honeywell, ABB, and others.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities and competing demands.
• English is the common language; strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Leadership and teamwork skills; ability to work independently.
• Creative thinker, results‑oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds, install equipment in tight spaces, pull wires/cables, and run conduits as necessary.
• Willingness to provide technical leadership and deliver project outcomes from a site‑based location.
