Job summary

Almarai Company seeks an experienced Divisional Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function across its large-scale dairy farming operations in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia.

The role is accountable for developing the engineering strategy to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety of critical infrastructure including electrical systems, refrigeration, water treatment, utilities, and machinery. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and budgets in a remote farming environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineering qualification preferred.
• Experience with high voltage distribution and industrial refrigeration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering function across Almarai's large-scale dairy farming operations.
• Develop and execute the engineering strategy to ensure reliability, efficiency, safety, and performance of critical infrastructure.
• Oversee engineering projects, maintenance programs, and budgets with inventory control.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Divisional Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function across Almarai's large-scale dairy farming operations in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia.

This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing the engineering strategy to ensure the reliability, efficiency, safety, and performance of critical infrastructure supporting milk production. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for electrical distribution systems, industrial refrigeration and ammonia plants, water treatment facilities, utilities, generators, and agricultural machinery.

The role will oversee engineering projects, drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manage engineering budgets and spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with Almarai's Health & Safety standards and international engineering best practices.

Based at one of the world's largest integrated dairy farming operations, this position is in a remote farming environment in Al Kharj, approximately 100 km southeast of Riyadh. The role offers a unique opportunity to lead critical engineering operations within a highly specialized, large-scale agricultural and industrial setting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
• Professional Engineering qualification preferred
• Qualified in Electrical Installation Standards (16th Edition or equivalent international standard)
• Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering and maintenance experience within a large industrial environment.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams.
