Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related discipline.
• 18+ years of professional experience with leadership in construction logistics.
• Experience leading logistics strategy on large-scale developments.
• Strong master planning and traffic management experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate contractors.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the district construction logistics strategy.
• Establish district logistics operating model, governance, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate with city-wide requirements into district plans and actions.
• Provide strategic logistics advice to district leadership and partners.
• Lead district logistics team with clear accountabilities and escalation routes.
• Direct preparation and integration of District Logistics Plans with master plans and procurement.
• Oversee construction access, haul routes, traffic management and temporary facilities.
• Direct scenario planning where access or logistics constraints could affect delivery.
• Act as senior district contact for construction logistics matters.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, district teams, infrastructure teams, operators and authorities.
• Chair district logistics meetings and record actions and decisions.
• Resolve significant logistics conflicts and represent logistics at governance meetings.
• Establish monitoring, assurance and reporting for district logistics performance.
• Ensure contractor logistics plans meet approved requirements and take corrective action if needed.
• Manage risks, contingencies, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, venue activation and phased asset handover.
