Job summary

Ultimate Peaks Talent & Strategy is retained on a confidential search for a major Saudi logistics and transport group. The Director will own how jobs are sized, graded, priced and measured across the group.

The mandate includes job architecture, job evaluation and the grade structure, compensation design, pay ranges and the annual review, performance management, calibration and rating standards, organisation design, spans and layers, and reward submissions to the board remuneration committee.

Qualifications

• Proven depth in a recognised job evaluation method applied in practice.
• Ability to defend a grade to a Chief Officer who disagrees.
• Experience writing reward papers for a board committee and having them approved.
• Strong understanding of pay protection and red circling.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; Saudi nationals encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance management systems, calibration and rating standards.
• Oversee organisation design, spans and layers across the group.

Requirements

We are looking for

• Genuine job evaluation depth in a recognised method, applied in practice
• The standing to defend a grade to a Chief Officer who disagrees with it
• Experience writing reward papers for a board committee and having them approved
• A proper understanding of pay protection and red circling
• Arabic and English
• This seat sets the standard the organisation is paid and measured against. It carries real influence and it will be argued with.
• Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged.
