Job summary

Confidential Government is seeking a senior media and communications leader to supervise representation across traditional and social media, aiming to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation locally, regionally, and globally.

The role includes policy development, budget oversight, and coordination with government and private institutions, ensuring timely media engagement and production of content across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in media or communications.

Job description

• Supervises representation across various traditional media and social media channels in a manner that enhances awareness of the organization’s objectives, services, and roles in society at the local, regional, and global levels, thereby enhancing the organization’s reputation and image.
• Participates in the development and preparation of policies and procedures and provides recommendations in alignment with the overall objectives and leading practices in the field of work.
• Proposes areas of development and improvement regarding operational procedures to enhance the department’s operational efficiency.
• Manages the department’s annual operating budget, monitors its performance, and submits periodic reports thereof.
• Manages the processes of coordinating and documenting relations with relevant government and private institutions, inside and outside the Kingdom, through continuous communication with them.
• Supervises the implementation of artistic production work for audiovisual materials, such as (photography, video production, animated graphics or illustrative data), according to the organization’s needs.
• Plans the implementation of activities for dealing with local and international media.
• Provides support in the implementation of tasks related to managing the Media Information Center and media archive.
• Supervises building relationships with various media entities and preparing responses to media inquiries.
• Plans the process of engaging various stakeholders through communication via media and social channels.
• Manages communication processes with various organizational units within the organization to effectively develop and disseminate communication materials.
• Manages activities related to providing various media outlets with media content about activities in accordance with the applicable rules and instructions.
• Supervises the process of monitoring media channel content and verifying the validity and accuracy of what is published about the Ministry and its activities.
• Supervises the process of monitoring and tracking various media outlets to follow up on what is published in newspapers and modern media (local and international).
• Manages communication activities with government and private entities regarding the functions and activities of the center.
• Supervises the process of representing and maintaining the entity’s presence across various media communication channels, in coordination with stakeholders/relevant organizational units.
• Provides support with regard to studying and analyzing various media materials, proposing ways to address them, and conducting research and studies supporting the center’s activities.
• Manages the processes of preparing press releases and news reports for international and local media.
• Complies with the organization’s work regulations and conduct, cybersecurity policies, and the procedures of the organizational unit.
• Performs any other tasks assigned by direct supervisors.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant field.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Media or any related field.
