Qiddiya Investment Company seeks an innovative Director - Design to shape the design philosophy and oversee the design direction for all development projects, ensuring they are groundbreaking and aligned with the company’s vision of excellence.

You will lead a diverse team of designers and architects, manage design development from concept to completion, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality solutions while guiding budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of professional design leadership experience, preferably in real estate or entertainment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Track record of delivering high-impact design projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with critical and creative thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design strategies that align with Qiddiya's overarching goals and vision
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of designers and architects, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration
• Oversee the design development processes from initial concept through to project completion
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design solutions are practical, innovative, and reflect community engagement
• Review and approve design proposals, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations
• Stay abreast of global design trends and best practices, integrating these insights into project initiatives
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring deliverables are met within expected parameters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 12+ years of professional experience in design leadership roles, preferably within the real estate or entertainment sectors
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage creative teams
• Exceptional communication skills, with expertise in presenting complex design solutions to various audiences
• A proven track record of successfully delivering high-impact design projects on time and within budget
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices is highly advantageous
