Job summary

SAUDI AIRLINES is seeking an experienced Head of Digital Payments to lead the day-to-day operations, delivery, and optimization of payment solutions across Saudia Group. The role centers on acquiring, wallets, gateways, and customer-centric payment experiences with strong regulatory and vendor coordination.

You will drive performance, manage risks, and oversee a team, ensuring secure, scalable payment processing aligned with business objectives and growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in digital payments, payment operations, acquiring, fintech, banking, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems, acquiring services, payment gateways, digital wallets, Visa, Mastercard, and regional banking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of digital payment solutions, including payment gateways, acquiring services, and digital wallets.
• Oversee payment card acquiring activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, PCI-DSS standards, and card scheme regulations (Visa and Mastercard).
• Lead payment-related projects and system enhancements, ensuring timely delivery, operational stability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, banking partners, payment service providers, and vendors to implement and optimize payment solutions.
• Monitor payment performance, transaction success rates, fraud indicators, and customer experience metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage payment risks, resolve operational and technical issues, and ensure secure, reliable, and efficient payment processing.
• Prepare performance reports, business cases, and recommendations to support decision-making and payment strategy execution.
• Lead and develop a team of payment professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging payment technologies, market trends, and digital payment innovations to enhance customer experience and support business growth.
