About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Technical Coordinator with specialized expertise in Façade Engineering, ABWF (Architectural Builder’s Works & Finishes), and IDFO (Interior Design Fit-Out). The role is on-site and responsible for supporting technical design coordination, ensuring compliance with project requirements, managing design–contractor interfaces, and facilitating seamless integration across all façade and interior packages.

Candidates with Mandarin/Chinese-language capability are highly encouraged to apply due to client-side coordination needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage façade, ABWF, and IDFO design documentation across all relevant stages.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with project specifications, architectural intent, and applicable codes/standards.
• Integrate multidisciplinary inputs and manage interface coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Support and coordinate BIM workflows to ensure accurate and integrated design models.
• Lead or participate in technical reviews, drawing checks, and approval processes.
• Resolve design challenges, clashes, and technical issues through collaboration with consultants and contractors.
• Manage mock-up reviews, samples, and material approvals aligned with project requirements.
• Act as a coordination link between client, contractor, and project design teams.
• Assist with communication and coordination when dealing with Chinese-speaking stakeholders (preferred).
• Support innovation, sustainability goals, and value engineering initiatives in line with Vision 2030 priorities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8-15 years’ experience in façade engineering, ABWF/IDFO, or multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Strong knowledge of KSA design regulations, standards, and approval workflows.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale or complex building projects (Middle East experience preferred).
• Proficiency in BIM-based design coordination and relevant software.
• Mandarin/Chinese-language ability is highly preferred due to client needs.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
