We are looking for a Sales and Operations Planning Analyst to support integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by translating commercial forecasts into actionable demand, production, material, and inventory plans. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity and optimize inventory health.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demand Forecasting & Sales Planning
- Consolidate sales forecasts, historical sales trends, marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and new product launches into SKU-level demand forecasts.
- Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and other sales channels.
- Analyze forecast accuracy, demand variations, seasonality, and commercial risks, highlighting deviations requiring action.
2. Supply & Production Planning
- Translate approved demand forecasts into production and replenishment requirements, considering inventory positions and operational constraints.
- Coordinate with Production to assess manufacturing capacity, production schedules, material availability, and readiness to meet planned demand.
- Support short-term and medium-term production planning to improve product availability and continuity of supply.
- Identify potential supply shortages, production constraints, capacity gaps, and operational bottlenecks, and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
3. Procurement & Material Requirements Planning
- Work closely with Procurement to determine raw material and packaging requirements based on demand forecasts, production plans, and inventory availability.
- Analyze material requirements using Bills of Materials (BOM), supplier lead times, current stock, and planned production volumes.
- Highlight material shortages, procurement risks, long lead-time exposure, and potential supply disruptions to support timely mitigation actions.
4. Inventory Planning & Optimization
- Monitor inventory levels across raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, and support replenishment planning across distribution channels.
- Identify excess inventory, slow-moving stock, and potential stockout risks, recommending actions to improve inventory health and product availability.
- Support inventory utilization and working-capital improvement initiatives through data analysis, inventory projections, and planning recommendations.
5. S&OP Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Consolidate planning inputs from Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Production, and Operations into a unified planning view and dashboard.
- Prepare weekly and monthly demand-versus-supply reports highlighting production requirements, material availability, inventory projections, planning gaps, and supply risks.
- Support S&OP meetings through data preparation, scenario analysis, performance reporting, and documentation of agreed actions and planning assumptions.
- Maintain planning-data accuracy and ensure timely communication of operational requirements, changes, risks, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders.
6. General Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, work procedures, company regulations, and approved standards.
- Perform other duties related to the role as assigned by the direct manager or relevant management to support business needs and operational continuity.
Requirements & Qualifications:
