Job summary

Tabby is seeking a DataOps Intern to join the Data Platform team in Saudi Arabia. You will work on real production infrastructure supporting AI and data workloads, with senior review from day one.

The role emphasizes reliability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance in a fintech context. The internship runs for six months starting autumn 2026, with a paid placement and full integration into an engineering team distributed across countries.

Qualifications

• Solid Linux fundamentals and shell proficiency.
• Hands-on cloud experience with at least one provider; GCP preferred.
• Understanding of containers and Kubernetes basics.
• Scripting with Python or Bash for automation.
• Experience with Git and development workflows.
• Real use of AI tools in engineering work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with cloud infrastructure (GCP) and bare-metal hosts for data workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for services and models.
• Run and troubleshoot containerised workloads on Kubernetes.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging; act on findings.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python or Bash.
• Support model training/inference environments and cost control.
• Investigate incidents and improve reliability and cost efficiency.
