Job summary

Tabby invites a high-potential intern to join the Data Platform & ML team in KSA for hands-on data engineering work. You will tackle real production tasks, contributor to data models, pipelines and quality checks, under senior review and mentoring. This is a full-time internship with growth into data engineering roles.

We value strong SQL and Python foundations, familiarity with dbt, Airflow, BigQuery, and BI tools, plus a proactive, collaborative mindset and English documentation ability.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in SQL.
• Proficient Python for data processing.
• Understand relational models and data modelling concepts.
• Familiar with data used for reporting and decision-making.
• Ability to read and modify existing pipelines or models.
• Git and standard development workflows.
• Structured thinking and data correctness.
• Open to constructive feedback.
• English sufficient for documentation and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytical data models.
• Work with SQL-based transformations and data pipelines.
• Contribute to data quality checks and validation logic.
• Help build data products used by business and engineering teams.
• Work with orchestration tools and scheduled data workflows.
• Discuss data modelling, metrics and definitions.
• Investigate data issues and identify root causes.
• Improve reliability and cost efficiency of data processing.
