Job summary

Tabby invites interns to join the Data Platform team for real production infrastructure work. You will engage with GCP-based clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized workloads, under guidance from senior engineers. The role blends DevOps with ML/AI platform tasks in a regulated fintech context.

Open to current students or fresh graduates, you will contribute to reliability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing GCC fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Solid Linux fundamentals and shell proficiency.
• Hands-on cloud experience (GCP preferred; others count).
• Fundamental networking knowledge and load balancing basics.
• Experience with containers and basic Kubernetes skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability concepts.
• Python or Bash for automation of tasks.
• Git and standard development workflows.
• Real, current use of AI tools in your own work.
• Structured thinking and attention to correctness.
• Open to constructive feedback and English documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work on real production tasks under senior review.
• Manage cloud infra (GCP) and bare-metal data host fleet.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for services and models.
• Run and debug containerised workloads on Kubernetes.
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerts, and cost controls.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python or Bash.
• Support model training and inference workloads.
• Investigate incidents and find root causes.
• Ensure reliability and cost efficiency of the platform.
