Job summary

Hilal Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Datacenter Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to own physical data center build-outs, rack-and-stack operations, and hardware lifecycle management onsite. You will install high-density servers, storage, and ToR/EoR switches while maintaining inventories and security compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in data center deployment, hands-on hardware experience, and collaboration with IT operations and facilities teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or IT field.
• 3+ years hands-on data center deployment or hardware maintenance experience.
• Experience with server hardware provisioning and structured cabling standards.
• Familiarity with Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS and storage architectures.
• Knowledge of VLANs, routing, switching, and optical transceivers.
• Experience with power, UPS, HVAC, and environmental monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provision, install, rack, stack, and cable physical servers and storage.
• Deploy and troubleshoot ToR switches, patch panels, and cabling.
• Manage PDUs, monitor power and cooling metrics.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, firmware updates, and BIOS configs.
• Maintain asset inventories and rack elevation diagrams.
• Coordinate equipment logistics and vendor service visits.
• Ensure data center security and cabling best practices.
• Collaborate with network, systems, and facilities teams on capacity planning.
