Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician for our Saudi Arabia team in Jeddah. You will perform 24x7 shifts, handle incidents, monitor environmental factors, and manage cabling tasks.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience, OS basics, and strong teamwork to ensure safe and efficient data center operations. Responsibilities include installing equipment in racks, documenting changes, and coordinating with facility and IT teams.

Qualifications

• BS or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years IT experience, including at least 2 years in Data Centers.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, cooling, UPS).
• Hands-on experience with server hardware, cabling and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux servers for basic configuration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment (servers, storage, networking).
• Rack servers and run/remove copper and fiber cabling per standards.
• Perform basic OS installations and server configurations (Windows/Linux).
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with vendors (HP, Dell, SUN, Supermicro).
• Monitor infrastructure: security, HVAC, power, and fire systems.
• Ensure data center security and supervise visitors.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports and follow SOPs.
• Work flexible shifts including nights/weekends and on-call duties.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with facility and IT teams.

Eram Talent is seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Center Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. Data Center Technician perform 24x7 shifts for Data Centers. Handle incidents and ensure safety requirements are met. Monitor environmental, power and server hardware. Handle cabling tasks for copper and fiber. Control access into the data centers, ensure work permits and material gate passes are issued. Install equipment in racks and document changes

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment, including servers, storage devices, and networking hardware.
• Handle physical setup of devices, including racking servers and running/removing cables (power, network, KVM).
• Perform basic OS installation and server configurations (Windows/Linux).
• Support hardware break/fix by troubleshooting issues and coordinating with vendors (HP, Dell, SUN, Supermicro).
• Monitor Data Center infrastructure: security, HVAC, fire systems, temperature, humidity, and power.
• Ensure Data Center security and supervise all visitors.
• Perform cabling work (copper & fiber) according to TIA-942 standards.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports and follow SOPs.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends, and handle on-call duties.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with facility and IT teams.
