Job summary

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking an experienced sales professional to identify, develop, and close opportunities in the data center and mission-critical facilities market across Saudi Arabia. You will build strong relationships with data center owners, operators, consultants, and EPC contractors to drive growth in precision cooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years HVAC sales experience in data center or mission-critical environments.
• Strong technical understanding of precision cooling systems and data-center cooling solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B technical sales environment.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE TC9.9 guidelines and data center Tier classifications.

• Coordinate with project management, engineering and service teams for smooth handover.

Job description

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the data center and mission-critical facilities market


• Build and maintain strong relationships with data center owners, operators, consultants, and EPC contractors


• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for precision cooling systems, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and related HVAC solutions


• Conduct site assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to design cooling solutions that meet client requirements and capacity needs


• Present technical solutions to clients, addressing energy efficiency (PUE), redundancy, and reliability requirements


• Develop and execute account and territory sales strategies to meet revenue targets


• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and bid submissions


• Negotiate contracts and close sales in line with company pricing and margin guidelines


• Stay current on data center industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging cooling technologies


• Coordinate with project management, engineering, and service teams to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction


• Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote Johnson Controls' data center cooling portfolio.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field


• Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC sales, with a focus on data center or mission-critical environments


• Strong technical understanding of precision cooling systems, chilled water systems, and free cooling solutions


• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B technical sales environment


• Familiarity with ASHRAE TC9.9 guidelines and data center Tier classifications (Uptime Institute)


• Existing network within the Saudi data center/EPC/consultant community is highly desirable


• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications


• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
