Job summary

Vertiv is recruiting a Data Centre Designer in Riyadh to translate customer needs into integrated, buildable solutions. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, delivery, and client engagement, owning the journey from concept to deployment.

The role emphasizes design depth, operational reality, and customer leadership, with collaboration across electrical, mechanical, and controls teams. The role requires a technical degree and 6–8 years of presales, design, or solution engineering

Qualifications

• 6–8 years experience in presales, design, or solution engineering in data centre infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into solution concepts using approved architectures and standards
• Develop technical proposals, solution descriptions, and Bills of Materials
• Support Sales with technical input during customer engagements and clarifications
• Apply Vertiv reference architectures, redundancy models, and design guidelines
• Coordinate inputs from internal engineering disciplines and support functions
• Support smooth handover of solutions into execution phases
• Highlight risks, assumptions, and dependencies and ensure adherence to standards
