The Senior Design Manager will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary design projects within WSP’s Property & Buildings sector, spanning commercial, mixed-use, and high-performance environments. The role will have a particular emphasis on technology-enabled facilities such as data centers, control rooms, and other mission-critical projects, integrating innovative design principles, digital delivery, and operational resilience.

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end design process, from concept and feasibility to detailed design, tendering, and construction coordination.
  • Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across architecture, structural, MEP, ICT, and life safety disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Serve as the main client interface for design and technical-related topics
  • Champion design excellence and innovation, ensuring alignment with WSP’s global quality, digital, and sustainability standards.
  • Promote the integration of digital design tools and technologies (e.g., BIM, Revit, digital twins) to enhance collaboration and performance.
  • Support the delivery of highly technical environments (including data centers, control rooms, and complex commercial assets) with a focus on efficiency, safety, and business continuity.
  • Manage design risks, design changes, and ensure timely approvals and documentation.
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client engagement for future opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to strengthen technical and project delivery capabilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in design and/or project management within the Property & Buildings sector.
  • Strong track record in managing complex, multidisciplinary building projects through all design stages.
  • Proven capability in leading technology-oriented or mission-critical facilities such as data centers or control rooms — preferred.
  • Solid understanding of multidisciplinary coordination, project delivery methodologies, and regional authority standards.
  • Proficiency in BIM and digital design tools (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with a multinational design or engineering consultancy is highly desirable.
