Job summary

Alstom in Riyadh is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement secure architectures for railway solutions. You will assess risks, define security requirements, and guide project teams across engineering and vendors to strengthen resilience.

You’ll work with ISO/NIST standards, apply tools like Wireshark and Nessus, and lead security evaluations while supporting colleagues with practical cybersecurity guidance throughout the lifecycle of Alstom’s systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience or understanding of cybersecurity risk assessment and management practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity architecture design and implementation.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Proficiency in architecture concepts and techniques of systems and networks, operating systems and programming languages.
• Knowledge of methods to evaluate systems security and common tool sets.

Responsibilities

• Designing and documenting reliable security architecture resilient against cyber threats (CADRA).
• Leading or contributing to cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Supporting and deploying cybersecurity knowledge and processes across projects.
• Conducting cybersecurity evaluations of developed solutions.
• Managing third parties on cybersecurity aspects.
• Overseeing cybersecurity vulnerability management.
• Providing technical guidance to project/program teams.
• Addressing design and technical challenges related to cybersecurity implementation.
