Job summary

Salt is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect Consultant in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on designing and governing enterprise cybersecurity architecture across applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms and enterprise technology solutions.

You will combine deep architecture expertise with knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements and governance. The ideal candidate brings 9+ years of experience, strong SABSA skills, and familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST and Saudi

Cybersecurity Architect Consultant

Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

We are supporting a major organisation in Saudi Arabia with the appointment of an experienced Cybersecurity Architect Consultant.

This role will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise cybersecurity architecture, ensuring security is embedded across applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms and enterprise technology solutions.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical architecture experience with an understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements and enterprise security governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Define security architecture principles, standards, policies and technical controls.
• Apply recognised security architecture frameworks, including SABSA, to enterprise solutions.
• Lead security architecture assessments across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
• Design security solutions covering networks, applications, infrastructure, identity and data protection.
• Evaluate technology solutions and integrations to identify architectural risks and security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, including NCA requirements.
• Work closely with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, application owners and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Provide technical security guidance throughout solution design, implementation and transformation programmes.
• Support Zero Trust principles, IAM, cloud security and secure systems integration.

Requirements

• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant exposure to security architecture and solution design.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security architecture frameworks, particularly SABSA.
• Experience designing security architecture for complex enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud security, network security, application security and infrastructure protection.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, Saudi NCA frameworks and security governance.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews, security risk assessments and technical design evaluations.
• Relevant certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP or TOGAF would be advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical documentation capabilities.
