Job summary

SLS The Red Sea in Tabuk is seeking a Cost Controller to monitor costs, manage inventory, and analyze spending across hotel departments. You will partner with Finance, Procurement, F&B, and Culinary to ensure tight cost control while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, hospitality cost-control experience, and strong Excel skills. Experience with hospitality systems (FMC, Adaco, Sun Systems, Opera) is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily hotel costs and expenses with focus on F&B.
• Review and analyze food and beverage costs, consumption, wastage and inventory movement.
• Conduct and audit inventories, stock counts, transfers, and spoilage reports.
• Compare actual costs against budgets and forecasts; investigate variances.
• Coordinate with Procurement to review purchase prices and supplier cost information.
• Review storeroom procedures, consumption records, and internal transfers for cost accuracy.
• Coordinate with Culinary and F&B on recipe costing, portion control, and menu cost analysis.
• Prepare regular cost reports including food and beverage costs and inventory movement.
• Identify opportunities to reduce wastage and improve efficiency; strengthen cost-control practices.
• Support month-end closing activities, including inventory valuation, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain audit-ready cost-control records and documentation.
• Ensure all cost-control activities follow hotel policies and procedures.
