Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer (Cost Control Engineer) to oversee cost management for large-scale capital projects, preferably in oil & gas. The role demands extensive experience in cost engineering, project controls, budgeting and forecasting, with strong SAP/Oracle proficiency and English fluency.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in project execution, plus PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (finance, MIS, engineering or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and project management execution.
• Strong background in cost engineering, project controls or related discipline.
• Proven cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting and control for large-scale projects (oil & gas preferred).
• Proficiency with SAP or Oracle cost management systems.
• Solid knowledge of project management principles and relevant standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; English fluency required.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting and cost control for capital projects.
• Prepare, maintain and review monthly cost reports and forecasts.
• Monitor project costs against budgets, contracts and control requirements.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Ensure engineering, procurement, construction, and completion activities meet cost and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients; support project controls.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer (Cost Control Engineer) to oversee cost engineering, project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting for large-scale capital projects, preferably within the oil & gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities for capital projects.
• Prepare, maintain, and review accurate monthly cost reports and project cost forecasts.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets, contracts, and cost control requirements.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to support project management and decision-making.
• Ensure engineering, procurement, construction, and project completion activities comply with contractual, cost, and company requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Support project controls and ensure proper implementation of cost management procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and project management execution.
