Job summary

ACWA Power is seeking a Central Control Room Operator in Saudi Arabia to monitor and control plant operations via DCS/SCADA, while coordinating field activities and maintaining safety and reliability across power generation and desalination assets.

The role requires 4+ years in CCR operations, with a technical engineering diploma or degree and knowledge of ISO standards. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for safe plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in control room operations.
• Awareness of ISO 9001/14001/45001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant equipment through DCS/SCADA per procedures and safety standards.
• Oversee RO desalination or CCGT systems and related equipment.
• Monitor parameters, alarms, trends, and take corrective actions.
• Execute start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with field operators and supervisors on isolation, permits, and safeties.
• Maintain shift logs, handover records, and defect reports.
• Coordinate with labs to monitor water quality and operability.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safety standards.
