Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy and Water is seeking an experienced CCR Operator for a Saudi Arabia Combined Cycle Power Plant. You will monitor and control gas turbines, HRSG, and balance‑of‑plant systems, operate the DCS, and coordinate dispatch directives from the Load Dispatch Centre to ensure compliant, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years total experience, at least 3 years as a CCR Operator in O&M of Combined Cycle Power Plants.
• Experience with Siemens GT based CCGT is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment and manage emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor power generation systems including gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSG, and related systems.
• Operate and adjust control systems to optimize plant performance within limits.
• Communicate dispatch instructions from LDC and ensure timely implementation.
• Adjust generation levels according to real‑time demand under a PPA.
• Maintain records of operational data and prepare performance reports.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in audits, drills, and training.
• Support PTW preparation and act as Emergency Response Team member.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions with staff.
