Job summary

IKEA Alsulaiman in Riyadh is seeking a Control Room Co-worker to greet visitors, manage the reception area, and monitor CCTV to help ensure a safe and secure building environment.

In this role you will handle calls, coordinate appointments, maintain staff contact lists, and support clerical tasks with a professional attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher degree in Occupational Health and Safety is required.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately; manage receptionist duties.
• Answer and screen calls, provide basic information, and forward inquiries.
• Monitor the CCTV system and report safety and security hazards.
• Coordinate with local authorities when required; maintain logs of staff extensions and contact details.
• Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings; manage mail and deliveries.
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed (masks, social distancing) at all times.

Purpose

As a Control Room Co-worker you will be the first point of contact for the company and you will provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. You will keep monitoring the building through CCTV System making sure the building is safe and secure.

Accountabilities:

• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
• Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
• Operates the telephone switch board in the professional manner using the proper language, tone and answers before the third ring
• Maintains updated list of staff telephone extension their work extensions and mobile numbers
• Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
• Monitor the SO building from inside and outside through the CCTV System.
• Provide video records when requested by the authorised people.
• Report all kind of safety and security hazards and incidents.
• Communicate and coordinate with local authorities when required.
• Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
• Monitor the flow at the staff entrance allowing only staff members, Commercial customers and authorized persons to go through
• Measure co-workers and visitors temperature prior to their entrance.
• Ensure all precautions like mask, social distance, etc are implemented all the time.
