Job summary

Client on One95 Global is recruiting a seasoned Contracts & Commercial Manager for a high-profile stadium project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role drives commercial management, cost control and negotiation across main and subcontracts, with focus on variations, claims and EOTs.

You will lead a senior team, manage large-value contracts, and ensure compliance with FIDIC framework while coordinating with Project Director and cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and deliver commercial

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Commercial Management.
  • 20+ years total experience, with 5+ years in senior commercial leadership roles.
  • Knowledge and experience of MEP including subcontractor contracts.
  • Proven Contracts & Commercial Manager experience on major stadiums or mega construction projects.
  • Strong Main Contractor experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of FIDIC contracts, Red/Yellow Book principles.
  • Experience in variations, claims, EOT, delay analysis, disputes and final accounts.
  • Experience managing large-value contracts, preferably SAR 1 billion+.
  • FIFA/World Cup/Olympic/UEFA/AFC sports venue experience preferred but not required.
  • GCC / Saudi Arabia experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, contractual and commercial leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contracts commercial management and cost control for a stadium project.
  • Manage the main contract and subcontracts.
  • Oversee variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT) and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and notices.
  • Prepare and manage variations, claims, valuations, payments and final accounts.
  • Monitor cost, cash flow, commitments, forecasts and commercial risk.
  • Lead subcontractor commercial management including tendering, negotiations and settlements.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial/contractual risks across the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Project Director and planning, procurement, design and construction teams on commercial matters.
  • Lead contractual correspondence and negotiations with Client, PMC, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Support dispute avoidance, resolution, and escalation as required.
  • Provide commercial reporting, forecasting and senior-management MI.
  • Mentor and lead the Contracts, Quantity Surveying and Commercial team.

Requirements

  • Experience in variations, claims, EOT, delay analysis, disputes and final accounts.
  • Experience managing large-value contracts, preferably SAR 1 billion+.
  • FIFA / World Cup / Olympic / UEFA / AFC or other international sports venue experience highly preferred, not required.
  • GCC / Saudi Arabia experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, contractual and commercial leadership skills.
