Job summary

International Maritime Industries is seeking a Contract Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end service contracting, from requisitions to bid evaluations and award.

You will ensure compliance with IMI procedures, coordinate with internal proponents and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle.

A Bachelor's degree and 3–9 years of relevant experience, plus strong English communication, are required.

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

The position manages the end‑to‑end lifecycle of service contracting activities by reviewing and releasing purchase requisitions, issuing RFPs, coordinating with internal proponents and suppliers, and leading bid evaluations to ensure the timely award and execution of high‑quality, competitively priced service contracts. Execute all procurement and contracting activities in strict accordance with IMI procedures, delivering high-quality and timely outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure full compliance with the organization’s code of ethics, procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations to safeguard integrity, promote transparency, and support effective, value‑driven procurement outcomes.
• Apply expanded conceptual knowledge of contracting principles to broaden functional capabilities and strengthen the quality of procurement outcomes.
• Communicate complex contracting information clearly to stakeholders to support understanding and effective decision‑making in straightforward situations.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members to support their learning, integration, and consistent application of procurement standards.
• Analyze and solve routine contracting issues using technical experience, sound judgment, and established precedents to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
• Lead and coordinate the full development of service contracts.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of contracts, ensuring alignment with commercial, technical, and legal requirements.
• Recommend enhancements to contracting processes and procedures to improve efficiency, compliance, and overall performance.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to procurement‑related KPIs, proactively addressing gaps or risks.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation and correspondence related to all contracting activities throughout the contract lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• At least 3-9 years of relevant experience in contract procurement role.
