Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across diversified business environments. The role focuses on developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and guiding commercial negotiations to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of goods, services, and subcontractors for multiple operations and projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in SCM or related field, at least 8 years in procurement with 3+ in management,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in facilities management, construction, infrastructure, or O&M.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • CIPS or CPSM certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and purchase order management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate commercial terms to achieve best value while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and project teams to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely execution.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial proposals in line with company policies and project specifications.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
  • Support project bids and tenders by obtaining competitive quotations and sourcing qualified suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
  • Facilities Management
  • Construction
  • Infrastructure
  • Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
  • Manpower & Outsourcing
  • Government or Semi-Government Projects
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are considered an advantage.
